The past few weeks have been pretty much filled with stuff, so I haven’t really found the time to write something. I just thought I should be a nice girl and let you all know that yes, I am still alive. More than just alive really, I am actually extremely happy. And there’s a couple of reasons for that…
So where to start… Ah, yes. I’ve passed two of my exams. I got two B’s, and considering the amount of work I laid into my studies this semester, I’m extremely happy about these results. I don’t really like lectures, and I don’t even think I recall being on a single one for the literature exam. It went well though, but I think I should get my act together before the next semester starts. History lectures tend to contain quite a lot of dates and stuff, something which I tend to forget very easily. I guess I should start attending more lectures. The third exam will be answered on Wednesday. I know I’ll pass that one for sure, since it is a course I feel somewhat comfortable with; English civilization. The grade however… We’ll just have to see about that.
I’ve also gone back to Mysen for the summer. I’ll probably work a lot to gain some cash before the new semester starts this autumn, cash always comes in handy. I’ve had a few incredibly nice visits from my better half as well. The distance between Mysen and Oslo is considerably shorter than Trondheim – Oslo, something which is a HUGE plus in coming home for the summer instead of working back up in Trondheim. That, and the fact that I’m spending the summer with family and friends close by too. And my dog of course.
I’ve also been busy with Aicon and Soracon. I’ve managed to finish my Yui-cosplay, but my Crona-cosplay still has a long way to go. So I guess I’ll have to go as Yui both days this time, since there is no way I can manage to pull of a decent Crona with the work I have left on the costume. I like to do things properly when I do them; no cosplay is better than a half done one. I can say one thing for sure though; Soracon is going to be just as awesome, and even more awesome than that, this time around! If you’re in Oslo next weekend, you should really stop by. Look for a medic in a Yui-costume, and you will find me. :3
I’ll probably be back to normal routines after this weekend, so maybe I’ll get back to writing some more posts too. Hopefully. xD

Exams are over and I now have some time free to do… stuff. xD I’m not really sure what I’ll be doing this summer besides working at my previous workplace back home in Mysen. I think I’m going on a vacation for a week or so, but our destination haven’t been decided as of yet. I am pretty sure it’ll be a place in Europe other than the Scandinavian countries though, so not too far away but still further than the language barrier. As a Norwegian I understand both Swedish and Danish, since they are both similar to my own language. And Swedes and Danes tend to understand Norwegian, as well as each other, too. Considering the many unions and stuff, one wouldn’t find it strange that Scandinavians do understand each other, really. ^^; But enough with the language stuff, and on to some other things.
The first week-end of May, I was in Stavanger, at the Free Comic Book Day-arrangement there. It was quite a lot of fun, but the relevant thing here is the Sunday after. Sophia, a very nice Japani-member also known as Dark Kwen, invited me, my better half and a bunch of other people home to her place to play games and have fun. A very friendly Japani-acquaintance named Patrick decided to learn me and my boyfriend the basics of Japanese Mahjong, Riichi. I had watched Saki before this, but suddenly Saki made a whole lot more sense after learning some basic rules. xD
So, yesterday, I played some mahjong online just to relax and get my mind of today’s exam. And I got my first Yakuman. Which was a double-Yakuman. I had to screenshot it. xD

Happy me was a bit happy then, yes. Now, off to play some more~!

This particular figma was spottet at Tokyo International Anime Fair 2009. My jaw literarily dropped when I first saw this. IT IS SIGNUM! Yes, I am a Nanoha fangirl. xD

Signum will be released in June. As for the retail prize, I have no clue as of yet. I’ll update when I find out. :3 The picture is taken from Mikatan’s GSC blog.

Oh, Max Factory… Why do you have to announce so darn many good figmas when I have no money? *sighs* There’s two that I really, really want to get my hands on now besides from rather old ones such as Tsuruya-san and Yuki from the Haruhi-series, as well as the Lucky Star bunch.

First up is Hiiragi Kagami, cosplaying as Hatsune Miku from the Vocaloid series. I adore this one, mainly because I’m a huge fan of both characters, as well as the OVA where Kagamiku appears. Kagamiku will be released in April, retailing at 2,500 yen.

Next is yet another Haruhi figma. This one is called the Summer Clothes version. What I really like about this one is the new hairstyle included (the ponytail). This one will also be released in April, for the same price as Kagamiku: 2,500 yen.

As some of you might have noticed, I live in a dorm room. The place where I live is called Voll Studentby, a private student facility located not so far away from NTNU Dragvoll, at a place called Voll. Voll itself is not to far away from Moholt, probably the most known place to live if you are a student in Trondheim. The most convenient thing about Voll Studentby, is that every room has its own bathroom! No waiting for your neighbors to finish their daily routine in the bathroom then. Or maybe having the neighbors wait for you… That would probably be it in my case. ^^; The image above is my door sign. Drew it on a whim a couple of days ago, since we suddenly decided we should have door signs.
On to the tour!

Tada~! This is actually the top part of one of my shelves, filled with many interesting things. The part I want to draw your attention to however, is the top section to the right. Do you see the Fahrenheit stuff? My collection is coming along pretty nicely these days, and I am now up to date on all their albums exept their Japanese singles, which I don’t intend to buy anyway. I guess I prefer them singing in Chinese, I think their Japanese sounds a bit silly. xD Personal opinion, I guess. And for those who want to see the rest of my room in all it’s glory, pictures are coming up later this weekend. I guess we’ll have a grand tour then. :3

February is coming to and end, and so is my writer’s block I pressume. I finally feel like writing something again! Well, that and the fact that someone just reminded me that I should write something since I hadn’t done so in ages… I have my reasons though.
First of all, I had an obligatory assignment to hand in. An assigment in English Prose, a rather difficult one I might say. I am not much of a prose person. Sure, I really enjoy reading, but analyzing and stuff like that… Meh. I overly enjoy studying gramatics and sentence structures though, another assignment I need to get started on.
Secondly, I have been home to visit my family. We suddenly got a reading break, so I figured I should go home and have some fun there. The week was awesome though, for many reasons. Some people from Japani.no, a Norwegian community for anime and manga, and myself went to Svinesund. Svinesund is right across the border to Sweden, and is a well known destination for Norwegians on “Harrytur”. “Harrytur” is a phenomenon created due to the much lower value of the Swedish Krona, thus Norwegians cross the border to do some shopping for a much lower price. The trip itself was… I lack words. xD Lots of stuff happened I can say, such as the car not functioning properly for instance, and the weather being darn right nasty.
On another note: I FOUND MY CAMERA! And to think I might had lost it… Well, it miracuously turned out to be in a drawer in my desk back home. Along with my ParaParaParadise Playstation game. Which I am currently hooked on.
Well, expect some reviews and pictures from now on! *huggles camera*

Even if you are not a huge fan of mecha series, I really recommend you to watch the Gundam series. While I am not much of a mecha fan myself, I have completely fallen for this. I guess you could call me a fangirl right now. Kind of scary, since I do not easily fangirl over something. Nevertheless, this caught my attention. And now I am addicted. So if you expect my post to be objective, I think you’ve better stop reading now… xD

Yesterday, January 29th, was actually my birthday! I have now reached 20 years. I guess that’s it for me being a teenager then. Don’t think I’ll miss it much though, at least not yet.
So, what did I do on my birthday? Nothing much really, since it was on a Thursday. We actually had a little celebration last Saturday, so I’m not feeling down though. I was rather surprised when I talked to my mum on the phone. She had actually considered coming up to Trondheim on a surprise visit. Unluckily, she’s gotten sick. Her arm’s got some kind of infection, so she’s probably going to the hospital to have an operation again. I’m going home in February to visit though, so not long until that.
Well, I have eaten cake, recieved a lot of congratulations and gotten some letters in the mail (one with a gift). What more can I possibly ask for? Thanks guys! ^_^
